Hello everyone,
The Richard Lemieux Foundation is proud to partner with the Association Régionale de Loisirs pour Personnes Handicapées des Laurentides (ARLPH) for the management of the Laurentian Adaptive Sports Ski Program at Mont-Avalanche.
This partnership will enable the adaptive ski program to develop and offer a wider range of student support.
The mission of the ARLPHL is to transmit skills, to break isolation through the provision of adapted leisure, sports, culture and outdoor activities, to organize specific community, municipal and recreational activities for integration and social participation, to help members build a better life by engaging with them, to set up psychoeducational goals to better equip and support members, help partners to better integrate and now persons with disabilities in their municipal recreation and leisure activities, assume a leadership role and be accountable to them.
It is therefore the ARLPH that will manage student registrations as well as the Sunday logistics of adapted ski lessons.
The Richard Lemieux Foundation will provide all the technical, material and financial assistance needed to successfully complete the Laurentian Adapted Ski Program.
We are confident that this development will benefit the entire community, including students, instructors and volunteers, and families alike.
The Richard Lemieux Foundation is looking forward to triple those VERY SPECIAL SMILES !
